How do I make a reservation?


If you want to book through the website, please send us an email to clcollr66@gmail.com. Include your dates, number of guests staying the night, reason for your stay and any additional info that you deem relevant. We will get with you normally within a couple of hours.




How do we pay for a reservation?


Once we have confirmed the reservation, we will invoice you through Square about 30 days prior to your arrival date. You can pay on the invoice by credit card ( just click the pay invoice icon) or you can mail a check to us at PO Box 100 Lorena, Texas 76655




What is your cancellation policy?


We hold reservations until 30 days prior to arrival so if you cancel before the invoice at 30 days there is nothing else required. After the invoice has been paid at 30 days then the amount paid is non refundable.




Do you require a damage deposit or down payment to reserve?


No, we do not. If you want to cover possible damage then we can purchase a $5,000 insurance for damage during your stay for around $60. This applies to our website. We are on other sites such as homeaway and airbnb which do have other payment policies that we have to honor.




What is your smoking policy?


We do not allow smoking inside any facilities. You are allowed to smoke outside on the porches. All we ask is that all butts and trash be picked up and put in trash containers(not in the house).




What is your pet policy?


We allow you to bring dogs and cats. They are not allowed on the inside the facilities. We have two areas that are climate controlled with kennels for your pets to stay in while you are with us. Either you can manage them while you stay or you can ask our Ranch Manager to do so.




Is the kitchen fully stocked?


Yes. We do have all the utensels necessary to cook and place settings necessary to host about 50 people. We do recommend that you bring your own paper products, condiments and drink preferences. We keep an extra 8 bags of ice in our freezer for your use as requested. If you have forgotten anything or need items the grocery store is only about 10 minutes away. You can also give our manager a call if you need him to get it for you. Coffee maker with filters supplied.




Linens & extra bedding?


We provide bedding for all of our beds and we do have several air mattresses available. Please make your requests and needs known to our manager as soon as possible so he can have them ready for you. If you want those extra blankets or personal pillows please bring them. *Towels in each room plus beach towels for swimmers in laundry room.




What is the price and what is included in the price?


The pricing per night can be found on the website home page. You are reserving the ranch and its facilities during your stay. We also include some one and two person pontoons with trolling motors for fishing in our trophy bass lakes. We do have some fishing gear available. Our manager can assist you during your stay for all activities. If you want us to schedule a third party hunt, zip lining, scuba diving or a guided fishing trip in our boat then please let us know. There will be a charge for those third party activities.




Can we bring our own equipment?


We do recommend that you bring your own personal items such as fishing equipment and life jackets, etc. If you would like to bring your own boat, atv then we would have to know and approve of it in advance.




What activities are available during our stay?


Indoor: board games, pool table, ping pong table, bar area, cooking in commercial kitchen, overhead projector and big screen for presentations and viewing. Outdoor: Fishing, hiking, kayaking(we have two available), swimming, biking, volleyball, basketball, target practice, clay shoots. If you can think of something else please ask and we will try to make it happen Athens area: Wineries, brewery, antique shops & shopping, TPWL fishery tour, arboretum, First Monday in Canton, restaurants, catering, scuba diving, zip lining, hog hunts, movies, golf, etc.




What else do you do for groups?


We are certified TPWL fishing instructors. We enjoy teaching others how to cast and catch fish. We supervise clay shoots. If you do not have a shotgun we will provide one for you. We have clays available and shells. All we ask is to be reimbursed.




Are there other people on the ranch during our stay?


Our ranch manager and host manager will be available during your stay. You will only see them when you call for assistance or have a question. We do have ongoing agriculture operations on the ranch. Sometimes you might see a vehicle going to check on animals or equipment. Your privacy is very important to us and everyone on our ranch knows to honor our guests.




How do I know what dates are available for reservations?


We do our best to keep the calendar on the website up to date. Please check the calendar and if you find a suitable open date then submit your dates by email to clcollr66@gmail.com. We will confirm in an email to you.




What information will I receive once you have confirmed my reservation?

What are the arrival instructions?


We will email you the arrival instructions within 5 days of your stay. It will include the ranch manager's ph number to call one hour before your arrival so that we can meet you at the lodge for a tour. It will also include the gate code to enter the ranch.




What are the house rules?


Generally, they are to use common sense and treat our property as you would treat your own. We do have a few rules included in the guest book.
